Our Team

Bruce Tyrrell

Director of Operations, Owner

Bruce has worked in every corner of the lighting industry. From doing summer stock with AE Mitchell, to touring with Neil Diamond and Paul Simon, to touring with shows like Showboat, Having Our Say, Doubt, Jersey Boys, and The Book of Mormon, he’s had a long and varied career, throughout which he’s had the opportunity to work with many greats. Working with different lighting designers the likes of Hal Binkley, Natasha Katz, and Richard Pilborough, has given him an incisive eye and sense of urgency with his work, which he maintained even as he moved out of the theater side of the industry and into architectural lighting and controls.

While with ETC he has had the opportunity to work on a number of large systems including Disney parks in LA and Orlando, the Church of the Latter Day Saints Conference Center in Salt Lake City, The UBS Islanders Arena in Hempstead, and the Performing Arts Center at the World Trade Center in NYC.

His wide range of experience, both in theater and in architectural lighting, puts him in a unique position to see things others might not have the experience to see. With half a century of lighting experience, as well as knowledge of systems and programs ranging from the 90s to the current day, his insight and foresight will put you in a position to achieve your project goals and aspirations.
